Any truth is relative
– What is reality? What is Truth? What exists in reality, that is not invented? Let’s think about it for a minute.
– Is truth that the sun always rises in the east and sets in the west? Is truth that 2 x 2 = 4? Is truth that you are currently sitting in a comfortable chair reading this book?
– Several important conclusions: 1) any truth is relative. The fact that something cannot be seen or touched does not mean that it does not exist in nature; 2) any truth is illusory. Humans constantly clothe various scale categories or truths in different forms, but in the end, the truth will still elude them due to the limitations of their mind; 3) any truth is absolute (for example, God, the Cosmos, the Universe, etc.). Absolute truth is incomprehensible to humans, to their narrow-minded brains. They are still unable to completely go beyond the limits and realize the full scale of the Creator’s idea in all its fullness: as it exists in its absolute reality. But this does not mean that one should not go beyond these limits, develop, experiment, and explore the world in all its splendour and ambiguity. Therefore, the formula “search + movement + self-knowledge = development” is valid here.
– But let’s return to the term “truth”, which, as a reminder, I conditionally divided into three components: a) relative truth, b) illusory truth, c) absolute truth. The concept of truth can also be viewed from the perspective of three other categories, namely: 1) scale of space, 2) scale of time, 3) scale of essence. Let’s focus in more detail on point number 2. What is truth on the scale of time?
It’s very simple. These can be very different categories: for example, church and religious dogmas and rituals characteristic of the Middle Ages that have completely (or partially) outlived their usefulness in the 20th and 21st centuries. Also, “truth over time” includes scientific theorems, the lifespan of which is usually very short: from a few months to several decades. Until they are refuted or a new scientific “hypothesis-axiom” appears, to which everyone will once again strive to conform.
– To longer-lasting concepts over time, I would undoubtedly include music: remember the immortal creations of Bach, Mozart, Chopin, which have survived their time and remain relevant to this day. This category also includes the works of great artists, philosophers, writers, thinkers, etc. Mortals as we are, our individual creations continue to live for centuries, and sometimes millennia. Whatever one may say, art is a tremendous force!
– The third category is the truth on a scale of essence
Example: an ant (or any other insect) crawls on a human hand. For it, this is the same surface as any other. With only one difference – it has different characteristics, and the ant is at greater risk here. At least because it is currently open to observation by a being of much higher order than itself. But for the ant, this truth is unfathomable! No matter how much it crawls, it and its “ant mind” will exist in its own and only its own dimension.
– As a result of all aforementioned: every truth has its level of perception on the scale of essence. Therefore, even the truth of being that was shown to Neo by Morpheus after they left the Matrix may be subject to doubt! Undoubtedly, this is the case. After all, the Universe has no limitations – it is infinite, and accordingly, a human being also has no limitations: only a feeling or a sense of possibility.
– The Universe is an infinite space for experiments and new knowledge. All a person has to do is want to change and be open to new knowledge, experience, and phenomena of this world. In addition, it’s desirable not to forget about willpower: an icebreaker, the driving force of change and a powerful engine of progress.
– In essence, the Matrix (or the System, which I will use as a synonym for the Matrix hereafter) is a gigantic machine that produces illusions of all kinds. Illusions imposed upon us by the education system, schools, colleges, and various religions, as well as the mass media (which includes not only television, newspapers, and radio but also, especially in the 21st century, the internet and various social networks). Add here politics, mass pop culture, advertising, and there you have it.
– More and more people are “waking up” and seeing reality they see reality in all its nakedness. More and more people are not only seeing the show, but also what is happening behind the scenes. This is truly remarkable! It shows and proves that we (humans) are something more than just elements or “batteries” of a gigantic System that powers it. We are capable of going beyond the boundaries, peering beyond them, and analyzing the information we receive based on our own unique experience and «internal filters». Of course, everyone’s filters are different, but that is the beauty of it, as the search begets new thoughts and ideas. Ideas create polymorphism. And polymorphism, in turn, contributes to further development and movement forward.
– There is, however, a flip side to the coin: unfortunately, very, very few are ready to accept this reality. Even among those who have formally awakened. I will explain: the influence of the Matrix on them is STILL strong enough to prevent them from permanently breaking away from its orbit and embarking on free-floating. But fortunately, it is ALREADY weak enough to not hinder awakening, personality change, progress, and as a consequence – exit from the System.
– Some of the “sleepers” (3d category) remain indifferent and continue to move in their sleep, heads bowed like “caravans of the desert,” stopping for a moment by a beautiful oasis, because they are tortured by thirst. But, alas, this is not “the thirst for knowledge”. That’s why they will never drink from this source and, without stopping, will move on: for them, this water is poisoned.
– But there are also those who not only laugh and twirl their finger to their temple. Understanding who we are, they act. According to the “chip” implanted in them and the program laid out (and any Matrix is primarily the programming of a person for its own needs, suppressing his will and any other prerequisites for free analysis and self-improvement), they fight against us and destroy us at every level possible and where their influence extends. Those category of people – are “Matrix agents”, let’s call them so.
– Agents can be infinitely talented, intelligent, and in all senses worthy characters of the “Matrix” series: they can even occupy high positions and be respected by their surroundings. But all of this is a total deception because deep down, under the mask, they are destroyers and servants of the System, and therefore enemies of progress. Plus, agents are tactical opponents of both and me and you. Tactical opponents but not strategic. Because in the long run, it is us (who else?) who will have to “re-educate” or, if you will, reprogram these “instances” for more elevated and global purposes, in order to eventually merge with them (yes, I understand that this may sound somewhat unexpected and improbable to your ear) into a unified whole. After all, at a certain and very high level, we are all part of a Unified Consciousness gaining different experiences here, on the third planet from the Sun
– But how, in our modern conditions of such a globalized, fast-paced world, can we influence the unprepared minds and souls of people from the third category? We are not counting agents who act consciously: finding them and quickly changing them to the side of progress is practically an insurmountable task, as they are too deeply “entangled.” How can we reach their minds and common sense through the incredible intensity and power of the “interference” of modern civilization? And at what point should we start? There are so many questions, but a few answers at the moment.
– My own approach: we need to start small. For me personally, this could be, for example, informational enlightenment. Actually, this book, which you hold in your hands (or browse in electronic form), was conceived precisely for these worthy and correct goals, from my point of view. No, I do not claim to be a messenger and a loudspeaker of absolute truth. One of the main tasks that I set for myself as a writer, analyst, and simply as a thoughtful and caring person is to show the entire illusion and falsehood of our everyday life; to “undermine,” if you will, the standards of our daily existence and make the reader, at least for a while, break away from it and reflect on the meanings and goals of our life. About our place and role in it. To analyze and to understand – what is the reality in which we live, how real it is, and also about the traps that can await us. About what could face us in the future and what it will be like.
– And now let’s dive into the ocean of unknown called the Matrix. Don’t be afraid, I will be your guide. For this, we will need a full set of analytical tools available to humans: the “scuba” of our knowledge and experience, the “mask” (to see all the details without bias and very clearly). Don’t forget about the “tube” as well: from time to time, we will have to surface from the System to look around, see where we currently are, and take a breath of oxygen.
